Privacy and cookies

Last updated: 22 September 2026.

This page explains what whereishot.info stores about visitors, why, and how you can change your mind. Questions and requests go to [email protected].

Who is responsible for your data

whereishot.info is run by Paveu Media - Paweł Cybulko (Polish tax ID, NIP: 6040092804), which is the data controller for this site. You can reach us at [email protected]. Because we are based in Poland, the EU GDPR applies to our processing, and the UK GDPR applies as well when you visit from the United Kingdom.

Cookies and similar storage

Nothing optional is stored on your device until you say yes. The first time you visit we ask whether we may use Google Analytics cookies; accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and the site works the same either way.

Google Analytics

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which months and destinations they look at. It records the pages you view, the site you came from, your device and browser type and an approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google Signals and advertising features are switched off, and the data is not used to show you ads.

Google processes this data for us. Event-level data is deleted automatically after 14 months, the retention period set in our account. Google may process data in the United States; those transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Before you accept, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so no request is sent to Google. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal and do not show the cookie question; you can still opt in below.

Changing your mind

You can accept or withdraw consent at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page or . Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics straight away and deletes its cookies from this site. We ask again after 6 months.

Server logs

Like every website, our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) handles technical data such as IP address, page requested, browser type and time to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. These logs are kept only for security and are deleted automatically.

Legal basis

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl), or the authority in the EU country where you live.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site shows no advertising and no affiliate links today. If that changes, this page will be updated first, you will be asked for any consent that is required, and links that earn a commission will be marked as such.
